Two Kidderminster Harriers fans are making the 42 mile walk from Kidderminster to Leamington ahead of our fixture on Bank Holiday Monday.
Dave Lewis and Dave Pouteney left Aggborough on Sunday morning at 6am and are scheduled to arrive at Your Co-op Community Stadium ahead of kick off. They will conclude their walk by entering Your Co-op Community Stadium's pitch at around 14:30.
The two Daves are making the walk in memory of former KHIST Chairman Ian Nash who sadly passed away in May last year and will be raising money for HUGS, a charity which helps support parents and families who experience the loss of a baby at any stage during pregnancy.
There will be a bucket collection at both sets of turnstiles and we ask fans to give kindly by either that method or on the JustGiving link here.
An absolutely incredible feat, all at Leamington FC wish the Daves all the best as they finish the walk today and send our condolences to Ian Nash's family and friends nearly a year on from his passing.
The Birmingham FA have released tickets for the Birmingham Senior Cup Final on Wednesday 4 May, 19:30. Tickets can be purchased on Aston Villa's ticketing website, and Brakes fans will be housed on the tunnel side of the Trinity Road Stand, our initial allocation in Block B5 (more blocks will be opened as seats sell out).
Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office on the day of the game but only in card, as Villa Park is a cashless stadium. We would highly encourage all Leamington fans to purchase their tickets in advance to avoid any queuing on the day.
Wheelchair users are advised to telephone the Aston Villa ticket office on 0333 323 1874 to book a wheelchair bay in Block C6.
Parking at Villa Park is £5 in the Holte End Car Park or you could join Leamington fans on the multitude of coaches that will be departing Harbury Lane at 17:30, contact Boris on 07426 821004 or see Liam in the club shop ahead of our game against Alfreton Town to book. Villa Park's closest change is Witton, return tickets from Leamington Station are £13 as of Friday 22 April but please note there is only one train that leaves after full time.
