Stuart Herlihy will surely go down as one of Jason Cadden's best signings for Leamington. Playing locally at Leamington Hibs he was persuaded to sign by fans and players, a decision he surely did not regret as he went on to make over 200 appearances for Brakes, winning three league titles and a cup along the way. Scoring on his debut against Coleshill Town, Herlihy became a fans favourite with his strong, committed performances and he seemed to enjoy playing for the club too, often breaking out into a grin when hearing the fans belting out his songs. Despite his no nonsense image on the pitch he seemed quietly spoken and almost embarrassed by the attention off it, but Stuart Herlihy most definitely deserves his status among the Leamington greats.
