Adam Walker has become the first member of last season's squad to be retained by Paul Holleran for next season.
The experienced midfielder, Brakes skipper for two seasons now, passed the 150 appearance mark for the club whilst leading the side to National League North consolidation last season, and the manager was understandably pleased to get his captain to commit early on.
'We're delighted to get Adam back on board,' said the manager. 'He is a leader for us on and off the pitch and local lad who knows the importance of the club and the captaincy. We are looking forward to working with him again next season.'
'I'm absolutely delighted to sign on again for next season,' said Wallker. 'It's an honour to captain the side and be part of such a great club. We achieved what most people didn't expect last season, and with the best points tally and going toe to toe with some of the best teams in the division. We all know how relentless the National League can be, but I am looking forward to another positive season. Look forward to seeing everyone soon. Up the Brakes!!'
