Steve Ellis (Goalkeeping coach)
Steve has a wealth of experience in coaching, having been involved in the game for many years.
Having played as a goalkeeper for Moor Green, Chelmsley Town and Bourneville in the Midland Combination, Steve got involved in coaching in his early 20’s, initially in the Combination before getting the chance to work at Worcester City with the reserves and youth teams.
After a spell with Bromsgrove Rovers, Steve spent three seasons at West Bromwich Albion, two with Walsall and also spent time at Birmingham City working with the Academy sides. He has also done a lot of coaching in Women's football, having a three year stint with the England Colleges Under 19’s team.
Having also done outfield coaching, over the last 20 years Steve has concentrated exclusively on goalkeeper coaching, having obtained his qualifications and the relevant coaching licences.
Steve has also worked at Solihull Moors for three years, two in the Academy and one with the First Team, but has been involved at Leamington for a number of years. Initially doing outfield coaching with the girls sides, he then got involved with a goalkeeping project for youngsters, before becoming involved with the Brakes first team.
