Chris Knott (First team coach)

Chris initially joined the club to assist in setting up the Academy. He now leads the Academy programmes and also became Head of Football Development at the Club in 2022. He has also been first team coach since 2020.

Beginning his career as a 16 year old goalkeeper at Knowle in the Midland Combination, Chris went on to represent the league in the FA National League System Cup, reaching the final in 2007-08. He was unfortunately forced to retire at 26 but went on to become involved in management at Knowle, first with the Reserves and then as Assistant and Manager of their 1st Team before he decided to leave to focus on gaining his coaching qualifications. He gained his UEFA A Licence in April 2018 and worked as an Opposition Analyst at Lowestoft Town and First Team Coach at Heather St Johns before arriving at Leamington.
