We can confirm dates for our away trip to Farsley Celtic and home clash with Buxton after both fixtures fell foul to the weather.

Brakes will make the journey to the Citadel on Tuesday 17 January, 7:45 kick off, to face off with Farsley Celtic.

Tuesday 7th February is the day that Buxton travel down to Warwickshire, with the game kicking off at 7:45 at Your Co-op Community Stadium.

Tuesday night's fixture against Buxton has been postponed due to a frozen pitch following a pitch inspection.

A rearranged date will be confirmed in due course.

Brakes' next game is on Saturday as Tamworth host FA Trophy Third Round action. Tamworth play on an artificial pitch so we are hopeful the game will go ahead, we will update on social media and our website if we hear otherwise.

Following a pitch inspection, we can confirm that tomorrow's Vanarama National League North fixture away at Farsley Celtic has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

A rearranged date will be confirmed in due course.

The National League Board is pleased to be in a position to provide a streaming update following a Board meeting on Wednesday 30 November.

As you are aware, the National League Board recently announced its intention to pursue the implementation of a streaming platform in the second half of the current season.

A huge amount of work has been ongoing behind-the-scenes with the League now in a position to announce a soft launch of the streaming platform on Saturday 10 December with a full launch two weeks later.

The first phase of the launch will see streaming introduced for National Division clubs only while the League works with North and South clubs running pilot events in the second half of the season to ensure logistically it can be delivered for North and South Divisions for the 2023/24 season.

The National League would again like to reiterate its commitment to providing a quality streaming platform that benefits all 72 Member Clubs.

Thanks must go to BT Sport and title sponsors Vanarama for their continued support.

Further updates around pricing and sign-up activity will be announced shortly.

Paul Holleran has confirmed that Tom Hewlett has returned to Burton Albion, whilst James Mace will be joining Southern Premier Central side Stratford Town on dual-registration.

Hewlett made ten appearances in total on loan from Burton Albion, scoring three times - most notably an 87th minute penalty to defeat AFC Fylde.

We'd like to thank Tom for his efforts in the gold and black.

Holleran also confirmed that James Mace will be joining Stratford Town on a dual-registration deal in order to get some game time under his belt.

The 37 year old will join up with former Brakes defender Paul McCone at the Arden Garages Stadium, with the Bards currently sitting eighteenth in the Southern Premier League Central. Everyone wishes Macey all the best for his spell in Tiddington.

Leamington FC will welcome former players for their Vanarama National League North fixture against Brackley on Tuesday 6th December for the club’s first ever Former Players Day.

Every single former Leamington player from both post-2000 and pre-1988 eras will be invited for a recognition celebration as we get ready for the 90th anniversary of the founding of the club in 2023. At half time, the former players who are attending will enter the pitch for fans to see.

For any players from either era who want to join us on Tuesday 6th December who we have not already contacted, please email press@leamingtonfc.co.uk where Brakes Press Officer Paul Edwards will add you to the guest list and send detailed information for the day.

With the World Cup around the corner, Leamington FC can reveal the offers taking place at the club’s home league games over the World Cup period – as Peterborough Sports, Brackley Town and Buxton visit Your Co-op Community Stadium.

All are welcome, and there will be reduced admission prices for everyone with prices at just: Adult £10, Concessions £5, Students £5, u18 £2 and u12 free.

World Cup matches will be live on the big screen in the clubhouse, where we will also be holding a special offer on drinks.

All pints of lager, cider and ales between 12pm and 2pm for the Peterborough Sports game and 6pm and 7pm for the Brackley and Buxton games will be just £2.50 in the clubhouse, with the Church Farm Brewery loyalty card (buy 5 pints, get 1 pint free) offer also still in action.

Brakes will host Peterborough Sports for the first time ever on Saturday 26th November at 3pm, whilst Brackley Town and Buxton visit Warwickshire on Tuesday 6th December and 13th December – both 7.45pm kick offs. Should Leamington progress in the FA Trophy and get a home draw in the Third Round Proper, the club will update what offers will be taking place on that day closer to the game.

Paul Holleran has announced that Burton Albion midfielder Charlie Williams is to return to Leamington on loan until January.

Charlie spent the final two months of last season with us, and impressed in his 8 appearances. He has spent time at Banbury United (playing against us in our 1-0 win earlier this season) and home town club Redditch United this season, but will now link up with Brakes again, and his Brewers team mates Callum Hawkins and Tom Hewlett.

Welcome back to the club Charlie!
