Dan Meredith has become the first member of Paul Holleran's Southern League Premier Division Central Play Off to agree terms for the 2024/2025 season, as Brakes return to the National League North.

Dan started 45 games last season, missing only 3, and scored his second goal for the club, a stunner to cap a 3-0 win at fellow play off chasers Redditch United.

Meredith has been one of the first names on the team sheet since establishing himself in the starting eleven after signing permanently from West Bromwich Albion in 2020, and collected more end of season awards, picking up the Players and Supporters awards after our final home game of last season.

'I’m excited to be back playing in the National League North with Leamington,' said Dan.' We were all disappointed with relegation but last season was very enjoyable and to top it off with the play off win was brilliant.

We know it’s going to be difficult going back into the north but we’ve proven before we can go toe to toe with the teams in that league and I’m sure this year won’t be any different.

I was delighted to hit 150 appearances for the club this year and hopefully next season I can hit 200!'
