The club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former director Victor (Vic) Shepherd at the age of 86.

Vic joined the Brakes board in 2001, and was also on the Management Committee of the Midland Combination, where we began our journey back up the Non League Pyramid, and along with his fellow directors he helped to lay the foundations for the club to rise again. He was one of so many friendly faces around the club, and always had time for a chat. We extend our condolences to Vic's family, and will relay more details when we have them.

On a separate note the club would also like to send our condolences to another of our former directors, Brian Knibb, on hearing the news that his wife has passed away. Our deepest sympathies and thoughts are with both families.
