Paul Holleran has further bolstered his squad with the signing of Dan Turner from Hednesford Town.
The 23 year old began his career in the Youth Team at Port Vale, turning professional in 2016, and went on to make over 40 appearances for the Valiants' first team interspersed with loan spells at Kidsgrove Athletic, Worcester City and Tamworth.
Following his release by Vale, Dan joined Hyde United in the Northern Premier League, scoring regularly before being snapped up by Matlock Town, where he was only able to make one appearance before the season was prematurely ended due to the COVID19 pandemic.
He began the current season with Hednesford and continued his goalscoring exploits. With the season at Step 3 and below looking unlikely to continue, Holleran made his move to bring the talented youngster to The Community Stadium.
Whilst thanking Hednesford for agreeing to waive the required seven day approach for the player, the manager said 'We're delighted to get Dan on board at Leamington. He is an exciting young versatile player and we are very much looking forward to working with him.'
We would like to welcome Dan to Leamington FC and hope he enjoys his time with the club.
