Following on from yesterday’s news that our scheduled fixture on Saturday v Coventry City First Team has been changed to a Coventry City U23’s team we would like to make the following information available.
Firstly we would like to take this opportunity to thank Coventry City for the very generous offer of allowing any supporters with tickets for our game on Saturday to receive a free ticket for their home pre-season fixture versus Wolves. In order to help facilitate this Leamington FC will be sending Coventry City a list early next week of everyone who had a valid ticket for our game tomorrow. To be able to be included in this list it is important that you go back on to our ticketing site and ensure that you have ticked the consent button for Leamington FC to use your data for keeping up to date on events and information. Unfortunately without this we are unable to provide your details to Coventry City. Coventry City will be issuing details on how to obtain these tickets in due course.
We do though understand that some people will not be happy and will want a refund. We would ask people asking for a refund if they would consider letting the club keep the booking fee to help offset the card transaction fees, although we will refund the full amount if requested.
In order to assist us could we please ask anyone wishing for a refund to email refunds@leamingtonfc.co.uk and as a subject header please use your booking reference. Your reference will be starting LEA followed by 7 numbers. In the text please confirm the email address you used to book the ticket and if you would like the booking fee refunded. If you have any other linked purchases like bus tickets or programme purchases we will refund these at the same time.
We are only able to process refunds if received in the refunds@ email address. Anyone who has emailed another club email please email again to this email following the instructions above.
When your refund has been processed you should receive an automatic email notification. Please be aware that although we will work through all the requests as fast as we can due to the fact that the persons who need to action all the refunds are volunteers with other full time commitments so it may take a week or so to get through them all.
Please also be aware that once the process has been completed it may take up to 10 days for the money to show back in your account. Unfortunately this is out of our control.
Finally thank you for all your patience and hopefully we will still see as many of you as possible on Saturday at Your Co-op Community Stadium for what should still be a good entertaining game of football.
