Manager Paul Holleran has today announced that the club have released midfielder Kurtis Revan in order to allow him to seek more regular first team football.
'Having had a chat with Kurtis we came to a mutual decision,' said the Brakes boss. 'His opportunities were limited last season and we both felt that he needs to be playing first team football.'
'We thank him for his efforts during his time at the club, he has been a super young man to work with and he played a big part in helping us win promotion into the National League North, but I appreciate that it is important for his development for him to be playing more often and that was not something I was able to guarantee him. We wish him all the best in the next stage of his career, and he will always be welcome back at the football club.'
Kurtis may have only scored one goal for us but it is a goal that is unlikely to be forgotten by Brakes fans as it was the winner in the 3-2 victory at Salford City last season. We would like to wish him luck for his future career.
