Leamington FC are pleased to announce a new management team for the Under 18 MJPL team who will form part of the the recently announced development pathway for players within the Club. Derry Hart who coaches within the Coventry City FC Academy Programme has been appointed to the Managers role and will be assisted by Scott Pheasey who makes the step up from Leamington Brakes FC.
Derry Hart stated, “Myself and Scott are delighted to be involved with the clubs new Youth Development Program. It’s a great opportunity and pathway for players looking to develop themselves and progress further at the club. It’s great to have everyone onboard with the programme and supporting us with what we’re doing. Both of us are looking forward to getting started.”
Leamington FC Chairman Jim Scott added, “It’s great to have them both within the new set-up. What struck me during the interview process was their commitment to advancing themselves and being part of a process that provides opportunities for young footballers to develop and progress”.
Open Trials will be held at The Phillips 66 Community Stadium & Harbury Lane Recreation Ground on the following dates:
Wednesday 27th June, 6pm - 7.30pm
Saturday 30th June, 11am - 12.30pm
Wednesday 4th July, 6pm - 7.30pm
All players wishing to attend should email youth@leamingtonfc.co.uk prior to attending the trials, players need to be no older than 17 as of midnight 31st August 2018.
