Steve Massey & James Poulter are racing across a frozen lake in Siberia, Russia, called Lake Baikal on a 1940’s Ural motorcycle braving sub zero temperatures averaging -20 degrees.
Some say they are crazy and stupid to embark on a 1200 mile journey and as if that wasn’t challenging enough, they will be unassisted and sleeping in a tent on the frozen lake over 8-10 days. Carrying all their arctic gear, supplies (including pepper spray for the bears and vodka for themselves!) and using a petrol stove to cook their survival food.

To make this adventure even more worthwhile they would love to raise money for Myton Hospice and kindly ask you for any donation for this worthy cause.
The Myton Hospices believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; they focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. They are leaders in compassionate end of life care; their work centres on their patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly they give them more quality time with their loved ones.Last year they supported more than 1,400 people and their families, in their three hospices, via their patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
