The club are pleased to announce that 4 more of the squad which finished last season will be returning for the forthcoming campaign.
James Mace has made over 220 appearances for Brakes now since being snapped up by Paul Holleran in 2011 after initially joining us on trial, and the versatile defender will be aiming to push towards 300 as he resumes his central defensive partnership with Jamie Hood.
He will be joined by fellow defender Ben George, who made 43 appearances in his debut season for us after joining from Rugby Town last summer, and played his part in helping Brakes to one of the best defensive records in the division.
Ross Oulton also made over 40 appearances for the club after arriving last summer, and made an impact coming off the bench in many games, not least at Paulton Rovers where he scored a spectacular late equaliser.
Also linking up with the club for pre season is Rob Elvins, who made 5 substitute appearances for us after joining initially as cover in the final month of last season.
We welcome all four players back to the club and wish them an injury free and successful season.
Another of the players who joined us temporarily late last season and helped the club secure a play off place, Callum Gittings, has left Solihull Moors to join AFC Telford United. Thank you to Callum for his efforts during his short time with us, and good luck at your new club.
