Will Shorrock has become the latest member of Paul Holleran's promotion winning to agree terms for the 2024/25 season, which sees Brakes return to the National League North.
The 25 year old midfielder linked up with Leamington a couple of months into the season, having won promotion through the play offs with Rushall Olympic the previoius season, so not only was he a pacy addition to our forward play, he had recent experience of what was required to get the job done.
Having seen his opportunities limited at Step 2 at the beginning of last season Will jumped at the chance to join Leamington, and it was a decision he did not regret:
'I’m thrilled to be staying at Leamington for this coming season. It’s a wonderful club that has looked after me since arriving last season and I have only good things to say about everyone involved here.
'To finish the season promoted again was special, and it’s testament to all the effort put in by everyone at the club for making it happen.
'It took me a while to get into the swing of things when I first arrived, but once I found my feet I feel I performed well, and the main thing was enjoying my football again. We will have a good go at Step 2, and if we all put as much effort in as we did last season I’m sure we’ll be fine and have a successful season. Up The Brakes!'
