The club are pleased to announce that we will be hosting another Former Players Day at our final game of this season, at home to Southport on Saturday April 29.
2023 marks the 40 year anniversary of Brakes first Southern League title win under Graham Allner, and with a good number of the team planning a get together to celebrate the occasion, they will be attending our National League North fixture against the Sandgrounders. However, we would like to extend the invitation to ALL former players to attend the game.
We were delighted with a great turnout at our last Former Players event when we entertained Brackley Town back in December, with former stars of the club spanning almost seven decades attending. Unfortunately on that evening our PA system decided to die on us, so we were unable to introduce them to the crowd at half time, so this time around we are hoping that they, along with any others who would like to attend, will come back so that we can properly thank them for their contribution to the history of our football club.
Please do help us to spread the word about this event, as we would love to see as many of our former players as possible on the day.
