Adam Walker is the latest member of Paul Holleran's Leamington squad that finished last season to commit to the club for the 2022/2023 campaign.
The former Coventry City youngster has amassed a wealth of experience in the National League North and above playing for likes of Telford, Brackley, Solihull Moors and our county neighbours Nuneaton, and played 19 games for Brakes after signing at the end of January.
The manager was keen to retain his services, saying 'Adam did really well for us after coming in in the second half of last season, and his experience and ability in the middle of the park will be vital for us next season.'
The player himself had no hesitation in agreeing terms to stay at the club: 'I'm buzzing to stay. I only joined in January but there's a great bunch of lads here, and it's somewhere you want to come and play.
'One of the big things as a player is enjoying your football again. The gaffer is a really great guy; he's got great staff around him, and all the people linked to Leamington are great people. It's got that family feel when you walk through the door and it's the same with the squad. They're all great lads, there's no egos - it's just a great place to play.
'It was a no brainer to stay really. We've got a good team; we were unlucky with a few injuries towards the end of last season, but I think we can push on towards the other end of the table this season.'
