Jack Lane has become the latest member of Paul Holleran's squad to commit to the forthcoming 2022/23 season.
The central defender is approaching 150 appearances in Brakes colours since signing from National League North rivals Alfreton Town in September 2018, and has established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet as part of a defensive unit that conceded the same amount of goals as eventual Champions Gateshead last season - the fourth best record in the division.
'Jack had another consistent season last time out, firstly alongside Kyle Morrison then later on James Mace,' said the manager. 'It was important for us to get him back on board and I am delighted he has agreed to remain with us.'
'It was a no brainer for me re-signing for Leamington,' said Jack. 'It’s a club that welcomes me and my family with open arms, and now going into my fifth season I regard everyone at the club as my second family. I enjoy being at Leamington and playing for the Gaffer and I’m excited to get back playing again and looking forward to improving on our position in the table this coming season. Up the Brakes!'
