Dan Meredith is the latest player from Paul Holleran’s squad to agree a new deal for the 2021/22 season at Leamington.
The tireless former West Bromwich Albion Academy youngster first arrived at the club on loan shortly before the end of the curtailed 2019/2020 campaign, making two appearances, but he showed enough to convince the manager to sign him permanently last summer. His versatility and ability to make an impact on a game has made him an important member of the Brakes’ squad, and his contributions impressed the fans last season.
‘I had no second thoughts about signing again for this season,’ said Dan. ‘With the squad we’ve got it's no surprise how well we did last season and I’m sure we’ll emulate that form this time around.
‘I haven’t had the chance to play in front of the fans yet so I’m excited to get that opportunity as well, hopefully we can give them something to cheer about.’
