Two more fixtures have been added to Brakes' warm up schedule for the 2021/2022 campaign, with both Forest Green Rovers and Worcester City visiting Your Co-op Community Stadium.
Our old Southern League and National League North rivals Worcester will provide the opposition for our first pre season fixture on Tuesday 6th July, kick off 7.45pm.
Sky Bet League 2 Forest Green, whom we also faced in the Southern League back in the 1980's, narrowly missed out on another trip to Wembley last season in the Play Offs, and recently appointed Head Coach Rob Edwards will bring his first team squad to Leamington on Saturday 24th July (1pm kick off) as part of the deal that saw Josh March move to the Gloucestershire club at the beginning of last year. Another link between the Brakes and Rovers is Taylor Allen, the current Forest Green man came on loan to Leamington from Forest Green last season making 8 appearances and scoring in the away win at Chorley.
We look forward to welcoming both clubs, and hopefully their supporters to Harbury Lane next month. Admission prices will be announced in due course.
