The club will be holding a bucket collection for kit man Andy Jenkins today who is starting to make a good recovery following his fall at our ground on his return from the away game at Concord Rangers.
He unfortunately damaged tendons in both legs requiring an operation to both legs and has been in the Coventry and Warwick Hospital for almost two weeks. The good news is that he was transferred back to Warwick Hospital last Thursday evening but is likely to have a lengthy convalescence.
Andy has performed the kit man role for various periods dating back to the AP Leamington days and has been a true stalwart for the club. I am sure you all join us in wishing him a full and speedy recovery.
UPDATE: £202 was raised for Andy and he thanks everyone for their generosity and good wishes he has received whilst in hospital. He hopes to be back watching his beloved brakes before the end of the season.
