We are delighted to report that our fundraising efforts in hitting our £1,000 target towards Connor Gudger's medical bill has been reached.
Connor, who sadly damaged his anterior cruciate ligament six weeks ago, requires an operation which will now take place on Friday. The operation has been costed at £7,000. He is getting support from the PFA of £6,000 and the difference has been made up from the generosity of fans at last Saturdays match v Alfreton Town as well as online contributions through the JustGiving page.
Connor thanks everyone for their fantastic support, which will allow the operation to now go ahead sooner rather than later.
I'm sure everyone will join the club in wishing Connor well for Friday, that he enjoys a speedy recovery and we see him back in the club colours as soon as possible.
