Club physiotherapist Pete Denham and manager Paul Holleran today confirmed that sadly Connor Gudger sustained an ACL injury in the win over Kettering Town two weeks ago, and is unlikely to play any further part this season.
'We've had the scan reports back and sadly the disappointing news is that Connor has ripped his ACL', said Holleran. 'He's due to see a surgeon a week on Monday and hopefully the operation can happen sooner rather than later. Sadly it's a long hard road back for him now, but we've had other players who have done it and got through it and hopefully with the support of all of us Connor will get through it. It's disappointing news but we've got to deal with it now and get on with it.'
All at the club wish Connor the best in his recovery back to full fitness.
