A cracking opening day fixture awaits as Brakes kick off their third consecutive season in the National League North with a short trip into Worcestershire to face old foes Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday August 3rd. Last season we earnt a fully deserved 2-1 victory at Aggborough in the midst of a six game unbeaten run in the final month.
Paul Holleran will then celebrate his 500th competitive game in charge of the club as Brackley Town travel up the M40 to the Phillips 66 Community Stadium. This of course means that we will be facing a different club over the Christmas period - that club being Gloucester City, who have been switched back from the National League South.
Other key dates are: An August Bank Holiday Monday trip to AFC Telford United, a trip to Hereford in between the Gloucester double header at Christmas, while Easter sees us entertain Telford and travel to Kettering Town on the Bank Holiday Monday.
The game closest to Paul Holleran's 10th anniversary in charge of the club is on November 16th, a trip to Bradford Park Avenue's Horsfall Stadium, a ground where we have yet to record a win. What a great time it would be to break that duck!
