The club are pleased to announce that Coventry City will be bringing their first team squad to the Phillips 66 Community Stadium on Saturday July 6th (Kick off 3pm) in what will most likely be both clubs first fixture of pre season.
The closest Football League club to us here in Leamington, Coventry had a solid season back in League One after escaping the basement division at the first attempt by winning the play offs in 2017/18, and only just missed out on the end of season lottery last time out. Manager Mark Robins will no doubt be looking to go one better in 2019/20 and lead the club back to the Championship. This will be the first opportunity for supporters to see new signings on both sides as Brakes begin a third consecutive season in the ultra competitive National League North looking to improve on their impressive 13th place finish last season having been tipped for relegation by many.
'The Sky Blues have confirmed they will be bringing their first team so there is likely to be a lot of interest given the locality of the fixture,' said Brakes manager Paul Holleran.
