Vanarama National League North
Grant Store Victory Park Stadium
Saturday 9th November 2024
Brakes slipped to their second defeat of the week as Chorley edged them out to replace Scunthorpe United at the National League North summit.
With George Ward unavailable due to injury and Ewan Williams unfortunately pulling up prior to kick off, Paul Holleran was forced into an extra change to the two he had already made; adding Jack Edwards to the starting eleven along with Joe Doyle-Charles and Henry Landers, while goalkeeper Jacob Humphries took Edwards’ place on the bench. There was also a welcome return to the squad for Ted Rowe.
