Mykel signed for Brakes in summer 2008 after an outstanding season at Sutton Coldfield Town. He had also stood out in the past when facing us for Boldmere St Michaels. He scored in our third game of the season against Dunstable and also netted on his first full appearance in the following game, a 3-1 win at Bromsgrove, alongside Mark Bellingham and Luke Corbett as Jason Cadden brought together yet another promotion winning team in the Southern League Midland Division. Injuries sidelined him for large spells of the season, preventing him from making more appearances. 

Mykel also played 15 games for Brakes in our first season back in the Premier Division.
