Sam joined Leamington on loan from League 1 side Burton Albion in February 2016, making his debut in a 1-0 home defeat to Hitchin Town. However, his arrival, along with that of Courtney Baker-Richardson, was the catalyst to fire Brakes back up the table into the play off places, and ultimately defeat at Hungerford in the Play Off Final. He became a popular figure during his short time with us and chipped in with some important, sometimes spectacular goals.
Went on to join Kidderminster Harriers after his release from Burton in summer 2016.
