James Fry spent two loan spells with the Brakes, the first being unfortunately cut short by an ankle ligament injury in our first season in the Conference North.

He returned to the club again in 2014/15 and made 26 appearances, scoring twice in a 4-0 win over Oxford City last Boxing Day. James spent time on loan at Kidderminster Harriers after his loan expired at Leamington but suffered a serious ankle injury and although released from his contract at Birmingham City during the summer, the club very kindly allowed him to complete his rehabilitation with them. He signed for Brakes on a permanent basis early in the 2015/16 season but was unable to nail down a starting place as he suffered more injury problems.
