Having scored twice at the New Windmill Ground in a 3-2 win for near neighbours Wilmcote, Paul Nicholls was quickly signed up by Jason Cadden and Bary Proctor, and proved to be a very good signing. After scoring 11 times in the remaining 2 months of the 2001/02 season, Paul was our top scorer in the following two campaigns before being snapped up by hometown club Stratford. However, he was back at Leamington by October and chipped in with his fair share of goals again to help us to the Midland Combination Premier Division title.
