Central defender Dan Preston joined Leamington on loan from AFC Telford United in December 2016 to cover for an injury to Jamie Hood. In his short time at the club Brakes won two, drew two and lost one of their league fixtures, conceding only two goals. 

Dan did actually play in six games for the club, the fixture at home to Chesham being abandoned due to floodlight failure.
