Jason Pearcey is one of many Leamington born players to represent the club in the early years. The goalkeeper was at the tail end of his career when he linked up with Brakes prior to the 2006/07 campaign, and he chose a great season to arrive as the club won a league and cup double and promotion back to the Southern League. However, Jason actually made his debut for us in the Ron Cooper Trophy win at Coventry Sphinx ahead of the 2001/02 season. Before moving into the Non League game he played professionally since the age of 18 for Mansfield, Grimsby Town and Brentford. We do know that he watched Brakes as a young lad, as he went to Witney away in 1982/83. (If you know you know)
