Nick Mort made his debut along with the rest of the team on August 19th, 2000 - The day Leamington FC was reborn. He scored in the 3-1 win over Enville Athletic, but only made 5 appearances that season , 6 if you count the expunged game against Wyre Forest in which he also scored. In 2001/02 however he was much more involved, scoring 14 goals as Brakes won promotion once more and reached a cup final. He also played in the first season back in the Premier Division before leaving the club.
