Matt Lewis was snapped up by Paul Holleran midway through the 2009/10 season to add to his already healthy striking options. The big front man had been plagued by injury problems at previous clubs, and while on occasions he looked unplayble he never really hit top form while at Leamington, and went out on loan to Rushall Olympic towards the end of his second season at the club.
