Brakes debut: 03/01/05 @ Continental Star - Midland Combination Premier Division - Won 5-2
Appearances: 7
Andy Harper first came to the attention of Brakes fans when in the Alvechurch goal in a Willie Knibbs Cup semi final during the 2002/03 season, when he produced a fine performance to help his side to victory. Alvechurch also went on to win the league title that season, but despite featuring in two pre season friendlies it would not be until the second half of the 2004/05 campaign that he made his debut for Leamington in a 5-2 win at Continental Star. Andy went on to make seven appearances for us in total that season, and probably would have made more had he not injured his finger saving a shot from fellow keeper Richard Morris prior to a game against Barnt Green Spartak. Andy was with us over the next two seasons but did not make another first team appearance.
