Lewis Gwilliams played one game for Leamington during the 2016/17 promotion camapaign as cover when Tony Breeden was suspended, helping Brakes to a 1-1 draw at home to Biggleswade Town. He was in and around the club for large parts of the season as a more than able back up to the skipper.  He returned in March 2020 to cover for the suspended Jake Weaver, helping us to a point in a goalless draw against eventual Champions King's Lynn Town in what turned out to be our final home game of the unfinished 2019/20 season.
