An experienced midfield player who loved to regale his team mates with tales of the time he played at Wembley, Joe signed from Tamworth, and was a mainstay in midfield over his seven seasons with us, ending his time at Leamington on high as he helped us back to Step 2 at the first attempt. He was something of an unsung hero, his best work often going unnoticed as the link between defence and attack. Joe also played for Solihull Borough, Evesham United, Redditch United, Solihull Moors Darlington, and Wrexham, where he had a fanzine named after him, and was an FA Trophy winner.
