Following an excellent season back in the Vanarama National League North (NLN) that saw the introduction of quite a few young players and ultimately the sale of young striker Callum Stewart to Shrewsbury Town, the club is looking to build upon that platform for the season ahead.
Definitely back in the league are relegated AFC Fylde, whilst Macclesfield FC with Manager Robbie Savage enter the league as champions of the Northern Premier League. One of AFC Telford or Kettering Town will also enter the league as Southern Premier League Central Play-Off winners, whilst the Northern Premier League Play Off Final is between Worksop Town FC and Stockton Town FC, although there is currently an appeal process taking place after the FA charged Stockton with fielding an ineligible player in their Play-Off Semi-Final win over Guiseley.
That leaves two spaces to be filled in the NLN with Bedford Town who won the Southern Premier League Central most likely to be placed in the National League North but no guarantees on that with the FA having to decide where to place Southern Premier League South Champions Merthyr Tydfil. Factor in that Gloucester City are in the Southern Premier League South Play-Off Final plus there has to be even a possibility that Hemel Hempstead Town FC could find themselves moved from the National League South. It will be intriguing to see what happens in the coming weeks.
Whilst reviewing admission and season ticket prices the club has had to factor in that our costs have once again risen, particularly with regard to energy, travel costs and rates rises.
We have made the difficult decision to increase Adult, Concession, Student and U18 admission prices by a £1 for the season ahead with Children U12 remaining FREE.
Admission Prices for Season 2025-26 are:
Adults £16,
Concessions £12,
Students £9,
U18 £6
Children U12 FREE.
The influx of young supporters these past two seasons has been great to see, re-invigorating the atmosphere both home and away. With that in mind and wanting to maintain the momentum we wanted to ensure that younger supporters remain encouraged to come to our games. For example most clubs charge students at their concession rate.
We conducted a thorough review of our Season Ticket pricing, wanting to ensure continuity across all the admission categories. Early Bird Season Tickets have been priced at 70% of what you would pay if you attended all 23 games, whilst a Standard Season Ticket has been priced at 75%. In addition we have made the decision to reward season ticket holders with the following benefits:
- Free car parking
- 10% discount on club shop purchases
- 10% discount on any match day hospitality package
- Priority access to any restricted ticketed matches (home or away)
