With a large attendance anticipated for our New Years Day Vanarama National League North fixture versus Hereford FC we are putting in place revised parking and transport arrangementsfor this match to ensure that everyone wishing to attend the game is able to do so.
It is anticipated that Hereford FC will bring 400-600 fans so the sheer logistics of that means we have to segregate fans from a crowd management perspective. With heightened interest in the game, we anticipate a crowd in the region of 1300+. We thank Hereford FC fans for their co-operation and use of three supporters coaches.
For those coming to Your Co-op Community Stadium for the first time, please note that although there is ‘ON-SITE’ parking for approximately 370 vehicles, there is NO alternative ‘on-street parking’, as we are located on a busy country road with no pavements and surrounded by farmland.
The additional costs re: segregation, stewarding and the provision of the FREE Bus Service, has led the Board of Directors to make the difficult decision to charge £5 per car for parking on site.We are asking supporters of both sides to help with travel and parking by using the bus service or car sharing, where possible.
ON-SITE CAR PARKING - £5 per car
For those that wish to park onsite you are advised to purchase a ticket in advance of the match via our online ticketing site.Tickets for parking will go on general sale at 9am on Saturday 28 December. If the parking ticket allocation is not sold out then cash payment will be accepted on the day, although we strongly advise you to purchase in advance, so as not to be disappointed. Cars will not be permitted to remain on site without a ticket.
OVERFLOW CAR PARKING
A provision for overflow car parking will be available at Harbury Lane Recreation Ground, Harbury Lane (2 minute drive from stadium). This will only be utilised once the main car park is full and a free bus service will be provided in such circumstances.
