The lure of Leamington finally proved too much for Tyrone Barnett in the summer of 2023, and he finally signed for us, some 15 years after we first tried to get him!! 

Arriving at the age of 37, his vast experience in the Football League was of great benefit to his team mates, and he provided a focal point in attack when playing. 

Tyrone began his career under Paul Holleran at Rushall Olympic, before goal laden spells with Willenhall and Hednesford Town earned a crack at the professional game with Macclesfield Town. He went on to appear for Crawley Town before a £1.1 Million move to Peterborough United in the Championship, and has also played for a number of other EFL clubs before dropping back into Non League with Eastleigh.
