Louis joined up with Paul Holleran’s squad in August 2022, joining after his release from Newport County. The 23 year old began his career at Aston Villa as a youngster, and also spent time with Kidderminster Harriers in their academy before spells with Stourbridge, Bromsgrove Sporting and Bedford Town.

He then spent the curtailed 2020/21 season in National League South with Oxford City, helping them to the 2nd round of the FA Cup, before signing a one year deal with League 2 Newport County last summer. He made his debut for the Exiles in an EFL Cup tie against Ipswich Town. Louis was then loaned to our National League North rivals Gloucester City at the end of January, until the end of the season.

Louis proved himself to be a more tha capable defender, as the Brakes backline conceded very few goals in the opening months of the season. He scored the winner against Banbury United and a priceless injury time equaliser at Chester, but after relegation chose to leave the club to continue playing at a higher level.
