Callum Hawkins (goalkeeper)

Having initially arrived at Leamington on loan from Burton Albion in February 2022, returning on a season long loan deal at the beginning of the following campaign which then cruelly cut short in February 2023 by a ruptured ACL, Callum returned to the club in September of last year feeling that he had unfinished business. It was a case of mission accomplished in May, as with he and his defensive colleagues having finished the Southern League Premier Division season with the best defensive record, the 24 year old finished with a Play Off winners medal round his neck having helped Brakes back to the National League North.

You would be hard pressed to find a more affable member of the Brakes squad, and the commitment that the 24 year old and his family have shown to the club, coming to support the team even when Callum was on the sidelines, has endeared them all to the supporters. The club were delighted when he agreed to remain for the new season.

The highly rated young goalkeeper previously spent loan spells with Gresley and Mickleover while at Burton.
