Connor signed for his hometown club in the summer of 2018, having left Tamworth as the supporters player of the season after 5 years at the club, having joined initially on loan before signing permanently after spells with Walsall and Nuneaton Town, making over 150 appearances. He began his career at Aston Villa before spending a season at the Bescot Stadium, making a single appearance for their first team during the 2012/13 season, when he spent his first spell on loan at Tamworth. 

Connor returned to Leamington at the back end of last season having spent time at Bromsgrove Sporting, and remained with the squad into the new season, ready and available when needed. He also spent time on dual registration at Barwell.
