Jake first joined Brakes on the eve of the 2019/2020 campaign on loan from Championship side Birmingham City, playing in the final pre season fixture.

He went on to make 42 appearances before the season was cut short in early March, and proved himself to be a competent, reliable keeper who was well capable of adapting to life in the National League North.

After his release from Birmingham in the summer of 2020 Jake had several offers but decided to return to Leamington on a permanent basis, having already proved a hit with the Brakes supporters, who voted him their player of the season that May. He was ever present once more as the season was once again frustratingly curtailed, and was one of our most consistent performers, playing a starring role in a penalty shoot out FA Trophy win at Wrexham. 

Jake left Leamington in summer 2022 to join Rushall Olympic.
