George Carline spent two productive loan spells with Brakes during the 2019/20 season, and contributed a great deal to our successes during that ultimately unfinished season. He joined initially in the August to help cover for the suspended Junior English, playing six games before returning to Solihull, but his impact was such that Paul Holleran managed to get him back for a second spell two weeks later. 

George played in several positons for Brakes and made a big difference to the team; one of his best performances coming in the stunning 5-0 success at AFC Telford United in the FA Trophy. His final game for us came in the 3-0 win over Gloucester City on Boxing Day. He would go on to join the Tigers in the summer of 2020 after being released by Solihull, despite breaking back into their first team after his early recall from his second spell with us, and impressing.
