Reece King became Leamington’s second new arrival of the 2019 close season when he signed from Hednesford Town in early June. However he only made 5 substitute appearances in the opening month of the season before deciding to return to his previous club Hednesford Town. 

Reece began his career at Malvern Town, making his first team debut in the 2011/12 season at the age of 16 and going on to make over 100 appearances for the club.

His performances for Malvern caught the eye of Gloucester City, and after a trial Reece began the 2017-18 season with the Tigers. However, after making only 13 appearances he joined Hednesford initially on loan in September 2017, signing permanently towards the end of that year.
