Promising West Bromwich Albion youngster Sam Wilding got his first taste of mens senior football when he joined Leamington on loan for the final three months of the 2018/19 season, playing 14 times and helping Brakes to a thirteenth place finish in National League North. He also lined up against us during his loan for his parent club as their Under 23 side were knocked out of the Birmingham Senor Cup at the Quarter Final stage. 

Sam returned to Leamington on loan for a second time from parent club Sunderland during the 2021/22 campaign, making a further 11 appearances and scoring a stunning goal against Tamworth in the Birmingham Senior Cup.
