Amrit 'Umbi' Sidhu made his first team debut for Leamington towards the end of their marathon run of games at the end of the 2001/02 campaign. Promoted from the Youth Team in the absence of Richard Morris he would no doubt have been pleased with only 1 goal conceded in two games as his team mates rattled in 8 at the other end. His only other appearance for the first team was in the Leamington Invitational Trophy defeat to Nuneaton Borough at the beginning of the following season.
