Theo Streete, another key member of our 2023/24 promotion winning squad, has agreed terms with Paul Holleran to remain with Brakes for the new campaign.
The manager has always favoured an experienced core to his squads, and Theo epitomises that. The 36 year old can tap into an 18 year career thus far in the Football League, and many seasons at Step 1 and 2 of the non league pyramid for the likes of Solihull Moors, Alfreton Town, Nuneaton Town and AFC Telford United.
You write off these types of players at your peril, and Theo, along with Brakes skipper Adam Walker, was able to savour the sweet taste of promotion in the play off final at former club Telford back in May, and just as keen as ever to get going again this time around:

'Following last season I had a good chat with the gaffer. My body still feels good, and with the environment the club creates for the players it was an easy decision to stay. There are some great lads, fans and people behind the scenes, and I'm really excited to be a part of this new season and build on what we did last year.'
