Josh Quaynor has become the latest member of last seasons successful promotion winning squad to commit to the club as we embark on a third spell in the National League North in 2024/25.
Making the left back position his own with his consistent performances, Josh, along with fellow Summer 2023 signings Cally Stewart and Henry Landers, made 47 appearances - the highest in the squad, as he became one of the first names on Paul Holleran's team sheet.
Along with several of his new team mates, the against-the-odds Play Off Final victory at AFC Telford United was a a second promotion in successive seasons for the 32 year old, who won the Northern Premier League Midlands Division Play Offs with Halesowen Town last year before being snapped up by Holleran.
'For me signing again was a no brainier after having such an enjoyable season and getting promoted, which was the aim,' said Quaynor. 'The way the club is run from top to bottom - there isn’t an other club at this stage of my career I would rather be at. The lads are all very down to earth with experience across it, and a lot of talented young ones coming through. The Gaffer has made me feel so welcomed and now I know why he’s one of the best at non league level.'
Josh is no stranger to Step 2 football, having experienced it early on in his career while with Redditch United and Worcester City, and we are delighted that he will be remaining with us for the forthcoming campaign.
